Nothing Fancy

Hey laaa-dieees! Here we are , ready to rock the night away in our seats. Listen, not a one of us is 18 years old . It is the opposite of appealing to stand in a sardine-like state for 3 hours and try to enjoy the music. No sir-ee. We would rather just take our

Countdown.

If this was a countdown of the best nights in November, tonight would be #2. (#1, obviously, Phil Wickham. Next Friday. Booyah.) Tonight we get to see Dave Barnes!! Another of my favorite singer/songwriters. I’m exhausted from school, so I don’t really feel like writing much more right now. I’m so tired that I feel

Belated.

I am so embarrassed. I can’t believe I missed my own blog’s birthday. But this little corner of the internet world is officially 1 year old (and 1 day)! And to think that I intentionally started on 11-7 because I knew it would be easy to remember. Yeah, right. Blogging has become one of my

A big thank you.

To my cousin Jake for cleaning out my garage. Because for the first cold morning since I moved in to my house I don’t have to go through this process: 1) Decide to stop at Starbucks2) So get ready a few minutes early3) Collect sundry items to take to school. Almost definitely leave something of

Wow. I mean, we knew she was on court and we knew that there were only 5 girls that had made it this far. Can you imagine? In a school of 30,000+ students, our sweet friend Natalie is one of the Top 5. Before hand, we got to tailgate with her and talk and laugh

Why today ruled.

There are a lot of reasons. Good weather, good football, good food, good company. But this is going to be a short blog. I’m between activities, sitting at Molly’s computer, already feeling the stress of getting a blog done on November 3rd. So before I move on to Haley’s house, I’ve got to post something,

A letter.

Dear Friday, I have something I have to say. I know I’m getting older, but honestly, it feels like you are the one changing. I remember when it used to be you that I looked forward to the most. I knew that you were a low-stress day and a high-fun night. We were close. You

Here we go here we go here we go now.

I think that’s from a rap song. Not sure. As I was drying my hair this morning, I was thinking about this day, this weekend, this month- trying to plan out my blogging. I know that some days I will have time (like today) right after school to blog. And many evenings, especially after grad
